Tom Falash completed Ed.S. and M.A. graduate degrees in educational leadership, as well as undergraduate studies in special and elementary education, at the University of Idaho. Tom holds professional administrative certification in Washington and Oregon.

A diverse career path afforded instructional and administrative opportunities in following his passion for working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families and professional advocacy for full inclusion to public school programs, access to the information, and skills need to participate as fully as active members in their communities.

Tom was appointed and served on state-level advisory panel monitoring The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) education of children with disabilities (Ages 3 through 21) advising state-level staff of unmet needs in the education of children with disabilities. Also, provide advice developing and implementing policies relating to the organization of services for children with disabilities, and development of evaluations and reporting data to the U.S. Secretary of Education.

Tom enjoys adventure living on the wild side with his college-aged twin sons and still trying to understand ‘Twin Speak!’ Tom enjoys good food, and exploring the outdoors of Washington State. 

Tom also enjoys playing golf. He has never scored a Hole in One!
