Research interests
Tammy Crawford researches issues pertaining to undergraduate student development and engagement in university programs, current trends and issues related to college athletics, and socio-cultural issues related to diversity and equity in sport.

Teaching/professional interests
Crawford teaches the UCORE Diversity course, Sport and Popular Culture, as well as Sport Finance. Also, she supervises student internships. At the graduate level, she teaches sociology of sport, sport in higher education, and serves on graduate student committees.
