Research interests
Gay Selby’s main scholarly interests are educational leadership and school finance.
Teaching/professional interests
Dr. Selby teaches courses in the educational certification programs for principals, program administrators, and superintendents. She works closely with professional organizations and school districts.
Recent accomplishments
- Served 12 years on Higher Education Coordinating Board/Vice Chair, 1992-2004
- Member of AWSP/OSPI Advisory Committee for State Internship Program
- Member of OSPI Work Groups to develop recommendations for Residency and Professional Certification for principals and program administrators
