David Alpizar

David is a Mexican-American graduate student and the first in his family to obtain a college degree. He received his B.A. and M.A. at California State University Northridge (CSUN). He is also a former National Institute Health (NIH) RISE and former NIH Maximizing Access to Research Careers Scholar.

He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with an emphasis on statistics, methods, and measurements. His research interests are examining the equivalence of widely-used scale.

As a hobby, he likes watching shows, movies, and writing short stories.
